Izquierda Unida promotes Frente Amplio project in Navarra

The Izquierda Unida de Navarra (IUN) coordinator has announced plans to bring the Frente Amplio project to the Navarra region, aiming to build the broadest possible alliances to influence political direction. The organization intends to launch a sociopolitical offensive focused on the housing crisis, the rising cost of living, and the preservation of public services and the environment.

IUN also expressed support for the upcoming general strike on November 11, working alongside unions such as CCOO, UGT, LAB, and ELA to advocate for decent wages and labor rights.

On a federal level, IU coordinator Antonio Maíllo has endorsed Toni Valero to lead the Frente Amplio candidacy. Maíllo emphasized that the political debate should focus on substantive issues—such as housing, the labor market, and healthcare—rather than individual personalities, urging the movement to move past trivial debates to address the fundamental needs of citizens.
