Iztok Kočevar to cycle 2,000 km for charity

Iztok Kočevar is set to embark on a 2,000-kilometer charity cycling journey from Maribor to Palermo, Sicily, starting October 4. This initiative, titled ‘Kolesarimo za otroške sanje’ (Cycling for Children's Dreams), aims to raise funds for children from socially disadvantaged families in collaboration with the Maribor Youth Friendship Association.

Following a successful previous route to Istanbul that raised over 15,000 euros to support talent development and camps for 80 children, this year's trek is expected to be more demanding, involving over 20,000 meters of elevation gain. The project is supported by various partners, including Luka’s Bikes, to provide opportunities for youth development and social inclusion.
