Mazda Fan Festa 2026 opens at Fuji Speedway

Mazda Fan Festa 2026 is being held at Fuji Speedway from October 3 to 4. This large-scale event marks the 35th anniversary of Mazda's victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1991.

The opening ceremony featured a demonstration run by the MAZDA 787B, the first Japanese car to win Le Mans. The vehicle was driven by Yojiro Terada, known as ‘Mr. Le Mans’. Mazda CTO Ryuichi Umeshita attended the ceremony and welcomed attendees, emphasizing the theme ‘Enjoy cars more.’

The festival includes over 70 content offerings, such as a media-versus-media Roadster endurance race and collaborations with Initial D. To commemorate the anniversary, two MAZDA 787B vehicles are scheduled for a rendezvous run to showcase their unique four-rotor engine sound.
