J Balvin launches Amazonas Air Jordan 4 collaboration

Reggaeton artist J Balvin has announced his fifth collaboration with Jordan Brand, featuring a new edition of the Air Jordan 4 sneakers titled “Amazonas”. The design is inspired by the Colombian Amazon region and the yellow caiman.

The footwear features a light yellow color palette and a caiman skin texture concept extending from the front to the rear of the sole. The interior includes botanical prints inspired by Amazonian flora. The design maintains the original silhouette of the Air Retro 4, incorporating mesh side panels and molded wings, while adding custom details such as the Jumpman logo alongside the artist's seal on the heel.

J Balvin stated that the edition is inspired by the “strength and beauty of the yellow caiman” and reflects his pride in his Colombian heritage. The sneakers are scheduled for release on Nike's official website at a price of 224.99 euros.
