J. Cole launches independent Dreamer Indie 5000 sneaker

Rapper J. Cole is launching his first independently produced footwear, the Dreamer Indie 5000, following the conclusion of his previous partnership with Puma. The project has reportedly been in development for approximately four to five years.

Designed and manufactured with Italian designers, the sneaker features a retro basketball silhouette inspired by styles from the late 1990s and early 2000s. The design includes a chunky cupsole, layered synthetic panels, and sharp zigzag overlays. The Dreamer brand logo will replace traditional corporate branding on the shoe.

The initial release is scheduled for September 23, 2026, in Cole’s hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. While early colorways include blue, white, black, and orange/pink combinations, specific pricing and details regarding a wider global release have not yet been announced.
