Watt spent ten years with the Texans, recording 101 sacks, 531 combined tackles, and 25 forced fumbles. Beyond his athletic statistics, he is noted for his community impact, including raising over $41 million for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in 2017.

The 2026 induction class also includes MLB All-Star Wagner and MLS player Ching. Ryan Walsh, CEO of the Harris County Houston Sports Authority, praised Watt for his excellence, toughness, and commitment to the Houston community.
