J. League Fantasy Card launches new Friend Cup feature
Mynet, in collaboration with the J. League, has introduced a new feature called ‘Friend Cup’ to its official digital trading card service, ‘J. League Fantasy Card’ (JFC). Released on August 18, the feature allows users to compete in fantasy leagues with friends and family, supporting groups of between three and 50 participants.
The JFC service allows fans to collect digital cards for approximately 1,700 players across all 60 clubs in the J1, J2, and J3 leagues. The platform integrates fantasy sports elements where users build teams of five players, and real-match performances—such as goals, assists, and defensive actions—translate into fantasy points. Collected digital cards can also be converted into physical trading cards.
To mark the launch of the new feature and the 2026/27 season edition, several promotional campaigns are underway. These include opportunities to win autographed player cards, match balls, and sets of physical club cards through various activities such as logging in, inviting friends, or participating in the new Friend Cup mode.
