J-LIS Fair 2026 to showcase local government digital solutions

The Local Government Information System Fair 2026, organized by the Japan Local Government Information Systems Organization (J-LIS), is scheduled to take place on October 27–28, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The event focuses on digital government implementation and the utilization of My Number cards.

Several companies will participate to present solutions for public sector digital transformation (DX). JTP Co., Ltd. will present on security strategies, specifically addressing supply chain risks and Privileged Access Management (PAM) in response to amendments to the Local Autonomy Act. JTP will also discuss cloud infrastructure support and generative AI training for municipal staff.

WingArc1st Co., Ltd. will exhibit its “Govlong” solution, which aims to support data utilization and operational efficiency for local governments. Their presentation will include demonstrations of tools designed to standardize data, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), and manage document workflows to lower mailing costs.
