J. Miguel Espinosa Infante releases cultural heritage book series

Author J. Miguel Espinosa Infante has released his book series, ‘Mapa del tesoro (Fragmentos para mi hijo)’, which aims to pass down cultural heritage through storytelling and reflection.

The second installment focuses on Don Cervantes de la Mancha, providing a reconstruction and commentary of ‘Don Quijote’. Rather than a simplified version, the work serves as an enriched guide that incorporates four centuries of literary discussion and reader perspectives to encourage engagement with the original masterpiece.

The first installment, ‘Miscelánea’, uses everyday experiences—such as watching films or visiting historical sites—to introduce broader subjects like Icelandic sagas and medieval chivalry. Described by philosopher José Antonio Marina as an ambitious effort to educate parents so they may better educate their children, the series seeks to combat cultural decline by providing a roadmap of human knowledge.
