J. Müller Weser expands breakbulk capacity at Brake port
J. Müller Weser, a family‑owned logistics company, is expanding its breakbulk operations at the Brake seaport in northern Germany. The investment includes modern loading and unloading technology and a reinforcement of the sales team. Former BLG Cargo Logistics senior manager Sven Riekers (51) has joined the breakbulk sales team led by Jörg Kaplan. CEO Jan Müller said the company remains confident in the long‑term potential of the breakbulk market despite current economic challenges and is therefore expanding capacity at Brake. J. Müller Weser operates terminals in Brake and Bremen, handling agricultural products, steel, wind‑turbine components and other bulk goods. The group employs about 550 people and reported 2024 revenue of roughly €116 million.
