Thunes expands global payment partnerships with J.P. Morgan and Aljazira Bank

J.P. Morgan Payments is expanding its partnership with Thunes to facilitate faster cross-border transactions across more than 100 payment corridors. Utilizing the Xpedite Remit solutions suite, the collaboration integrates J.P. Morgan’s local real-time payment rails with Thunes’ Direct Global Network. This allows businesses to reach approximately 12 billion mobile wallets and bank accounts with end-to-end traceability and faster settlement. The expansion is also expected to extend into Chase’s consumer and small-business operations.

In a separate development, Aljazira Bank in Saudi Arabia has also partnered with Thunes to modernize its international remittance services. This agreement aims to enhance the speed and reliability of consumer remittances by providing real-time access to bank accounts and mobile wallets across key corridors in the Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Gulf Cooperation Council regions. The move supports Saudi Arabia’s digital finance goals under Vision 2030.
