J. Press promotes inclusive Ivy style at New York Fashion Week
At New York Fashion Week, J. Press presented its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, aiming to redefine traditional Ivy League style as inclusive rather than elitist. President and creative director Jack Carlson stated, “I think Ivy style is for everybody,” emphasizing a move away from the brand's historically exclusive associations.
The runway showcased a diverse range of models representing different ethnicities, generations, and hair textures. The new collection blends American classics with British influences, featuring updated proportions and vibrant colors. Additionally, the brand introduced its first women's capsule, expanding its classic aesthetic to a broader customer base.
