Yokohama F. Marinos secured their first victory in three matches with a 2-0 win against Kashiwa Reysol in the sixth round of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League.

Veteran attacker Ryo Miyaichi, making his first start of the season, scored the opening goal in the 19th minute, marking his first goal in 799 days. Rio Nita added a second goal in the 48th minute by converting a rebound from a Miyaichi shot. The victory allows Yokohama F. Marinos to claim their third win of the season, while Kashiwa Reysol suffered their second consecutive loss.
