J2 clubs Oita Trinita and Yokohama FC announce permanent player signings

Several player transfers have been announced within the Japanese football leagues. Oita Trinita has completed the permanent signing of forward Matheus Leiria from Mito Hollyhock. The 31-year-old Brazilian striker, who has experience playing in Europe and various Japanese leagues, will wear the number 10 jersey.

In another move, Yokohama FC has secured the permanent transfer of 23-year-old forward Kanta Chiba from Shimizu S-Pulse. Chiba, a product of the Shimizu academy, has previously played for clubs including FC Imabari, Tokushima Vortis, and Fujieda MYFC. He will reunite with manager Daisuke Sudo, whom he previously played under at Fujieda.
