JA Town launches Ibaraki new rice campaign

JA Town is conducting a special campaign for new rice produced in Ibaraki Prefecture, running through September 30. The promotion features various rice varieties at discounted prices through the site ‘Iimono Ippai Hiroba’.

Available products include ‘Fukumaru’, an Ibaraki original known for its large grains and sweetness, offered in 5kg x 2-bag sets for 7,100 yen. ‘Koshihikari’ is also available in 5kg x 2-bag sets for 7,300 yen. Other offerings include ‘Akita Komachi’ as a 5kg pre-washed rice bag for 4,380 yen, and ‘Antlers Ichibanboshi’, a variety developed through a collaboration between JA Group Ibaraki and the Kashima Antlers football club.
