Jaaved Jaaferi Discusses Playing Manav in Upcoming Film Dhamaal 4

Actor Jaaved Jaaferi told IANS that portraying his recurring character Manav in the Bollywood comedy "Dhamaal 4" is still enjoyable. He said the fun comes from staying within the character’s boundaries while looking for ways to add nuance, and emphasized that strong writing makes performance easier, whereas weak writing creates two problems for an actor.

Jaaferi explained that actors understand the limits of a role and that the franchise cannot be forced to adopt Gen‑Z humor. The film, directed by Indra Kumar and produced by a team that includes Ajay Devgn and Bhushan Kumar, also stars Ravi Kishan and Arshad Warsi and is scheduled for release on 10 July 2026.
