Jabari Parker in negotiations with Baskonia

American forward-center Jabari Parker is in negotiations to join the Spanish EuroLeague club Baskonia. Following his recent departure from Partizan Belgrade, Parker is reportedly working on obtaining a ‘Cotonou passport.’ This status would allow him to play in the Spanish ACB league without occupying a non-EU player slot, providing significant roster flexibility for the Vitoria-based club.

Parker’s tenure at Partizan was marked by challenges, including a struggle to find form and a period of training separately from the team. His contract with the Serbian club was recently terminated by mutual agreement after Partizan settled a portion of its debts to him.

Baskonia is currently seeking reinforcements to address performance issues on the court and growing dissatisfaction among fans regarding the club's management and leadership.
