JABBA! Salento Cinecomics Fest to held in Lecce

The third edition of the JABBA! Salento Cinecomics Fest is scheduled to take place on September 26 and 27, 2026, at the former Agostiniani Convent in Lecce. Organized by Kanò7 APS, the festival focuses on comics, illustration, and animation.

The 2026 theme, titled ‘NEXTWORLD’, explores the intersection of the future, art, technology, and identity. The event features a program of workshops, masterclasses, panels, and screenings designed to facilitate direct interaction between professionals and the public.

Announced guests include Monica Ward, the Italian voice of Lisa Simpson, as well as Disney Italia and Bonelli illustrator Fabio Celoni, and award-winning writer Alessandro Bilotta. The festival is supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture and involves collaborations with the University of Salento, the Apulia Film Commission, and the Municipality of Lecce.
