Jacek Zieliński criticizes Legia Warszawa owner Dariusz Mioduski

Jacek Zieliński, the former sporting director of Legia Warszawa, has criticized the management approach of club owner Dariusz Mioduski. Speaking in a podcast with Tomasz Ćwiąkała, Zieliński argued that Mioduski lacks patience and tends to favor individuals who promise rapid progress.

Zieliński noted that Mioduski often attempts to ‘accelerate’ or ‘turn on the turbo,’ which frequently leads to failures. He suggested that instead of seeking quick fixes and frequent squad overhauls, the club should focus on a consistent, long-term strategy by building a stable foundation and gradually adding star players once a strong core is established.

The club has not won the Polish championship since the 2020/2021 season, a fact that has led to criticism regarding Mioduski's leadership and decision-making processes.
