Jaciara provides 1,500 medical services in healthcare mobilization

The municipality of Jaciara conducted a large-scale healthcare mobilization through the ‘A Espera Acabou’ program. The initiative provided approximately 1,500 medical services, including specialist consultations, exams, and surgeries, to reduce accumulated demand.

At Escola Municipal Marechal Rondon, over 19 specialists provided care in fields such as ophthalmology, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, and psychiatry. Other locations included the Complexo Santa Lúcia for examinations and the Hospital Santa Lúcia, where more than 150 patients underwent ophthalmic procedures like cataract and YAG laser surgeries. Additionally, the Hospital Municipal de Jaciara hosted orthopedic surgeries.

Mayor Andréia Wagner emphasized that the program aims to provide convenience by bringing specialists directly to the municipality, preventing residents from having to travel to other cities for medical care.
