Jaciara students host cultural exhibition on Brazilian diversity

Students in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) program in Jaciara held the 1st Cultural Exhibition of the Regions of Brazil at the Amélia Freire Municipal School. The event showcased the results of classroom studies regarding Brazil's cultural diversity through art, music, dance, and gastronomy.

Participants from various schools, including Magda, Modelo Santo Antônio, and Milton, organized spaces representing the five regions of the country. The exhibition featured traditional dishes such as baião de dois, feijoada, moqueca, and cuscuz to illustrate regional customs and history.

Jaciara Mayor Andréia Wagner and Municipal Secretary of Education Márcia Cristina attended the event. Cristina noted that the exhibition served as an important moment for integration and for students to creatively share the knowledge they constructed during their lessons.
