Jack Aitken replaces Jack Doohan at Nielsen Racing

Jack Aitken will replace Jack Doohan at Nielsen Racing for the final two rounds of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) season. The change begins at the 4 Hours of Silverstone.

Nielsen Racing confirmed that Doohan, a Haas Formula 1 reserve driver, is unavailable for the remainder of the campaign due to changes in his schedule. During his four races with the team in the No. 24 Oreca 07, Doohan helped secure 21 points, placing the squad eighth in the championship standings.

Aitken, who has experience in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship driving Cadillac machinery, will partner with Roy Nissany and Edward Pearson. Following Silverstone, the team will complete the season at Portimao.
