Jack Daniel's launches Distillery Series #17 High Angel’s Share whiskey

Jack Daniel's Distillery announced the release of Distillery Series #17, a batch‑proof High Angel’s Share Tennessee whiskey at 138.4 proof (69.2% ABV). The spirit originates from barrels laid down in 2016 and aged on the top floor of the Coy Hill barrelhouse in Lynchburg, Tennessee, where increased evaporation concentrated its flavor. Master Distiller Chris Fletcher said the high angel’s share “let nature take the lead,” producing a profile of brown sugar, banana nut bread and maple syrup with a long oak finish. The release was selected by Jack Daniel’s whiskey taster Dale McGee and is bottled in 375 ml bottles at a suggested retail price of $44.75. It is available exclusively at the Jack Daniel’s distillery and the White Rabbit Bottle Shop.
