Jack Doherty arrested in Florida for domestic battery

Social media influencer Jack Doherty, 22, was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on September 4, 2026, following a reported domestic dispute. Fort Lauderdale Police responded to a residence in the Riverside Park neighborhood, specifically the 1400 block of Southwest 5th Court, shortly before noon.

Authorities determined that Doherty and an unidentified woman were involved in a physical altercation inside the home. Police stated that the woman was not injured during the incident. Doherty was subsequently charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and booked into the Broward County Main Jail.

While official police reports have not confirmed the details of the dispute, sources close to Doherty have claimed that his actions were taken in self-defense.

This arrest is the second major legal incident for the YouTuber in South Florida within a year. In November 2025, Doherty was arrested in Miami Beach on charges including drug possession and resisting arrest after obstructing traffic to film content. That previous case was reportedly resolved through a diversion program.
