Everton player Jack Grealish sidelined following disciplinary breach
Everton winger Jack Grealish has been excluded from the squad for consecutive matches following a breach of club discipline. The 31-year-old, currently on loan from Manchester City, missed both a Carabao Cup fixture and a Premier League match against Newcastle United.
Reports indicate the disciplinary action follows Grealish missing a training session without authorization. Further allegations suggest the player engaged in two consecutive nights of partying and alcohol consumption in London and Wilmslow around October 19 and 20. During these outings, he reportedly attended the Pride of Britain Awards and visited a karaoke bar, later joining teammates Jordan Pickford and Tyler Dibling at a pub to watch a Champions League match.
Everton manager David Moyes has expressed support for the club’s decision, stating that the organization maintains high values both on and off the pitch. While the club has not officially linked the social outings to the disciplinary measures, Grealish has been sent to the club’s training base to work on his fitness. His return to the starting lineup remains uncertain.
