Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic concludes with Rutgers and Penn victories

The Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic concluded at Carnesecca Arena with notable performances from Rutgers and Penn.

Rutgers secured a five-set victory against St. John's (25-27, 25-19, 25-23, 24-26, 15-13) to close out nonconference play. Skylar George and Kenzie Dyrstad were named to the All-Tournament Team. Imani Howell led the Scarlet Knights with 16 kills, while Dyrstad recorded a career-high 23 digs.

In another match, Penn defeated Bryant University in straight sets (25-20, 25-23, 25-22). Layla Olatunde led Bryant with 13 kills and a .478 hitting percentage, while Carrina Barron recorded 21 digs.
