Jack Miller accepts Yamaha decision amid MotoGP generational shift

MotoGP rider Jack Miller has addressed his departure from the premier class, stating he holds no resentment toward Yamaha following the decision not to retain him. Miller, who has secured four Grand Prix victories during a career spanning teams such as Honda, Ducati, and KTM, noted that he does not wish to remain in a position where he is not valued.

Pramac Racing is set to replace the Australian rider with Moto2 talent Izan Guevara for the 2027 season. This transition is part of a broader generational shift in MotoGP, where veteran riders are increasingly being replaced by younger talent.

Miller has hinted at a potential move to the World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK) in 2027, a trend that may include other riders like Brad Binder and Franco Morbidelli as the rider market undergoes a redistribution between Grand Prix and production-based racing.
