Jack Miller discusses Yamaha V4 performance at Aragon GP

Following the Aragon Grand Prix, Jack Miller provided insights into the performance of the new Yamaha V4 engine. While expressing confidence in the project and noting the bike's effectiveness in corners, Miller highlighted a critical deficit in top speed compared to competitors like KTM.

Miller noted that the speed gap on straights can reach up to 10 km/h, making it difficult to defend positions against riders such as Enea Bastianini and Brad Binder. He described the situation as having his ‘hands tied behind his back,’ explaining that tire protection strategies required to maintain long-distance competitiveness further limited his ability to compensate for the lack of power.

Despite these technical limitations, Miller's performance was considered solid, finishing 10th in the Sprint and 11th in the Grand Prix, notably outperforming teammate Fabio Quartararo during the weekend.
