Jack Miller to leave Yamaha MotoGP project at end of 2026
Yamaha and Prima Pramac have officially announced a significant rider lineup change for the 2027 MotoGP season. Jack Miller will depart the MotoGP project at the end of the 2026 season, concluding his two-year collaboration with the Yamaha satellite team. While his future in the premier class is uncertain, Miller is heavily linked to a potential move to the World Superbike (WSBK) championship with Yamaha.
To replace Miller, Yamaha is promoting Moto2 talent Izan Guevara to the MotoGP class for 2027. Guevara, a former Moto3 world champion, will join the Prima Pramac Yamaha squad, where he will partner with Toprak Razgatlıoğlu. This move is part of Yamaha’s broader strategy to invest in younger talent through its BLU CRU development program ahead of the 2027 technical regulation changes involving 850cc engines.
