Jack Poluzzi opens SharGKs Academy to train Italy’s next goalkeepers

Former Italian goalkeeper Giacomo “Jack” Poluzzi, noted for helping FC Südtirol achieve promotion to Serie B and for holding a European unbeaten‑match record, has retired from playing and is now a goalkeeper coach for Bologna FC’s Primavera‑1 team.

Poluzzi has launched the SharGKs Academy in his hometown of Bologna. The academy is a professionally structured program that aims to develop young goalkeepers through technical drills, mental preparation, and values‑based coaching, with an added social component to give back to the community.
