Jack Rocha reports explosive attack during campaign in Espírito Santo

Federal Deputy Jack Rocha (PT) reported an attack involving an explosive device during a campaign activity in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Espírito Santo. The device reportedly struck two workers, who sustained minor abrasions and received medical attention.

The deputy's campaign stated it will formally report the incident to authorities and also address the conduct of a military police officer. The campaign alleged the officer posted a video mocking the incident on social media before deleting it.

In her campaign platform for the 2026 reelection, Rocha is focusing on reducing social inequalities and expanding opportunities in Espírito Santo. Her agenda includes regional development, job creation, and strengthening public services such as health, education, and infrastructure. She noted that over R$ 235 million has been allocated to the state through parliamentary amendments for various social and infrastructural initiatives.
