Jack Wolff escapes injury after karting accident in Italy

Jack Wolff, the nine-year-old son of Mercedes F1 principal Toto Wolff, escaped injury following a violent karting accident during the IAME Warrior Final in Viterbo, Italy.

The incident occurred during a qualifying race while Jack was competing for position. A collision between karts caused another vehicle to be launched into the air, striking Jack on the shoulder and helmet area. Despite the severity of the crash, which caused an immediate interruption of the race, Jack was able to exit his kart under his own power.

Toto Wolff confirmed his son was unhurt, stating, “Alles gut, alles gut,” while attending the United States Grand Prix. Medical examinations revealed no injuries. Jack returned to competition on Saturday, finishing the final in 15th place. He previously secured the X30 U10 category title in the Italian IAME Series this season.
