Jackery unveils new Explorer Plus series power stations
Jackery has introduced new additions to its Explorer Plus series, including the Explorer 1000 Plus V2, 2000 Plus V2, and the new Explorer 3600 Plus. These models aim to provide more compact and lightweight designs compared to previous generations through the implementation of Cell-to-Body (CTB) battery architecture, a technology adapted from the automotive industry that integrates battery cells directly into the device's structure.
The new units utilize ceramic-coated lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells. Jackery claims these cells offer improved longevity, guaranteeing over 70 percent capacity after 6,000 cycles, which is estimated to provide approximately 30 years of typical use.
Specific features include a UPS function with a 10-millisecond switching time to ensure nearly uninterrupted power during outages. The Explorer 2000 Plus specifically offers a capacity of approximately 2,042.8 Wh with a continuous output of 3,000 W and a peak output of up to 6,000 W to handle high startup currents from tools or appliances. The system is also expandable up to 12 kWh via additional battery packs and solar input.
