Former Clark County judge and television personality Jackie Glass has died in Las Vegas at the age of 70. While her cause of death has not been revealed, her passing was confirmed following social media tributes from her family.

Glass gained national prominence in 2008 when she sentenced O.J. Simpson to up to 33 years in prison following his conviction for armed robbery and kidnapping. Beyond her judicial career in Nevada’s Eighth Judicial District Court, she transitioned to television, hosting the syndicated court program ‘Swift Justice’ from 2011 to 2012 after succeeding Nancy Grace.

Before her time on the bench, Glass practiced law for 18 years, including 12 years at the firm Wolfson & Glass, which she co-founded with her husband, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Rebecca and Rachel Wolfson.
