Jackie Shroff marks film anniversary and honors lyricist Hasrat Jaipuri

Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has marked two significant anniversaries related to his career and the history of Indian cinema.

Shroff shared a social media tribute celebrating 34 years of the 1992 film ‘Sangeet’. Directed by K. Viswanath and produced by Gulshan Kumar, the romance-drama featured Shroff alongside Madhuri Dixit, who performed a dual role. The film's plot centered on music, family relationships, and an eye-donation subplot.

Additionally, Shroff paid tribute to the legendary lyricist and poet Hasrat Jaipuri on the 27th anniversary of his death. Jaipuri, known for his long-standing collaboration with filmmaker Raj Kapoor, penned many iconic Hindi film songs, including ‘Yeh Mera Prem Patra’ from the 1964 film Sangam.
