Jackie Shroff recalls working with Karisma Kapoor and honors Yash Chopra

Actor Jackie Shroff recently shared reflections on his career and paid tribute to industry legends. During an appearance on ‘India’s Best Dancer’ Season 5, Karisma Kapoor recalled her experience working with Shroff in the 1992 film ‘Police Officer’. Kapoor noted that she was only 17 years old at the time and felt significant nervousness performing a major dance number alongside a major star and many dancers.

Shroff praised Kapoor as a multi-talented artist and expressed pride in her professional journey.

Separately, Shroff honored the late filmmaker Yash Chopra on his birth anniversary via social media. He described Chopra as someone who will ‘always be in our hearts’. Yash Raj Films also released a tribute to the founder of the production house, acknowledging his legacy in romantic cinema and the stories that shaped the industry. Chopra, known for classics such as ‘Deewaar’ and ‘Chandni’, was a recipient of the Padma Bhushan and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
