Jackson Chourio hits 20th home run to reach elite MLB milestone

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio has hit his 20th home run of the season, marking his third consecutive campaign with at least 20 home runs. This achievement places the 22-year-old Venezuelan in an elite group of players, making him the 17th player in history to reach this milestone by age 22.

Chourio joins a list of legendary figures including Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, and Frank Robinson. He also becomes only the second player in Brewers history to achieve this feat, matching Ryan Braun. Despite missing the first five weeks of the season due to a broken bone in his hand sustained during the World Baseball Classic, Chourio has maintained high offensive production.

In addition to his power, Chourio has demonstrated significant speed, having recorded at least 20 stolen bases in each of his first two full seasons. He currently nears another 20-steal milestone for the 2026 season.
