Jackson Drake retains NXT North American Championship
Jackson Drake successfully defended his NXT North American Championship against EK Prosper during a recent episode of WWE NXT. The match was booked after a previously scheduled six-man tag team match was canceled due to Mini Vikingo being medically cleared to compete.
Prosper gained early momentum with several high-flying maneuvers, including a hurricanrana and a leg lariat. However, interference from Drake’s stable, The Vanity Project, shifted the course of the bout. Myka Lockwood, Brad Baylor, and Ricky Smokes provided distractions at ringside to assist the champion.
The finish involved significant interference from Kam Hendrix, who appeared to capitalize on the chaos by pushing Prosper off the turnbuckle. This allowed Drake to deliver a Shining Wizard to secure the pinfall victory and retain his title.
