Jackson Flora makes scoreless professional debut for San Jose Giants

Jackson Flora, the fourth overall pick in the 2026 MLB Draft, made his professional debut for the Single-A San Jose Giants. The 21-year-old right-handed pitcher delivered a scoreless first inning in a game against the Fresno Grizzlies.

During his outing, Flora allowed one hit and one walk while recording two strikeouts. The San Jose Giants won the match 8-5. Flora, a former standout at UC Santa Barbara, was the only pitcher selected in the top 10 of the 2026 draft.

His collegiate career was marked by high-level performance, including a 12-0 record and a 1.06 ERA over 102 innings in his final season. He finished his three-year college tenure with a 2.49 ERA and 259 strikeouts across 224 innings.
