Jackson Mora remains in Ancón I prison amid fraud investigation

Jackson Mora, currently held in preventive detention at the Ancón I prison, was recently captured in footage during a facility operation. Mora is being investigated for alleged involvement in a criminal organization known as ‘Los Arquitectos del Fraude,’ which is accused of embezzling approximately 10 million soles from the Municipality of Pueblo Nuevo in Chincha. He is facing charges related to computer fraud.

Reports from the prison highlight severe overcrowding at the Ancón I facility. While designed for 1,500 inmates, the prison currently houses over 3,700 people. Mora is reportedly held in a maximum-security pavilion, sharing a single cell with seven other inmates.

Mora’s legal counsel, Ricardo Sánchez Carranza, announced that the businessman is preparing a book titled ‘La pelea que yo no elegí’ (The fight I did not choose) to recount his experiences during his incarceration.
