Jackson T. Stephens Cup crowns co-champions in individual golf competitions

The Jackson T. Stephens Cup concluded its individual stroke play competition at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco, resulting in co-champions for both the men’s and women’s divisions. In the men’s category, University of Texas teammates Daniel Bennett and Matt Comegys shared the individual title after both finished with a score of 9-under-par 207.

In the women’s division, Farah O’Keefe of Texas and Macy Pate of Wake Forest split the individual crown. Pate’s performance marks the first time a woman has won the tournament twice in its six-year history.

The tournament now moves into match play to determine team champions. On the men’s side, Texas will face Texas A&M, while Rice and Utah compete for third place. In the women’s division, defending champion Wake Forest will play South Carolina for the title, with Oregon and Texas competing for third place. South Carolina advanced to the championship match after finishing stroke play in solo second with a team score of 860 (-4).
