Singer Jackson Wang is facing renewed social media speculation regarding an alleged seven-year relationship with Yuqi, a member of the South Korean group (G)I-DLE.

Rumors of a connection between the two performers date back to 2019 during their appearance on the variety show ‘Keep Running’. In February 2022, speculation intensified following a video showing Yuqi being transported to Wang’s residence by his driver; however, Wang’s management denied any romantic involvement at the time, stating the individuals were merely friends and reporting the incident to authorities.

Recent claims from a self-identified former fan suggest the relationship has continued privately, alleging that Wang’s parents traveled to South Korea to celebrate the Lunar New Year with Yuqi. Observers have also pointed to overlapping social circles and coincidental travel schedules as circumstantial evidence. Wang has not issued a formal statement through his studio, but recently posted a video of himself eating watermelon on Weibo, which some netizens interpreted as a humorous response to the gossip.
