Jacksonville Jaguars defeat Cincinnati Bengals 22-17

The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 22-17 on Sunday, moving to a 3-1 record and taking the lead in the AFC South. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 18 of 23 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown, marking his first career victory over the Bengals.

Jacksonville’s defense secured the win with two critical red-zone stops, including a fourth-down stop on Bengals running back Chase Brown with 50 seconds remaining. The Jaguars also set a franchise record with nine consecutive games recording an interception.

For Cincinnati, Joe Burrow threw for 428 yards but also recorded two interceptions. The Bengals suffered a significant blow when All-Pro wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was removed from the game in the second quarter due to a concussion. Tee Higgins contributed 151 receiving yards in the loss.
