Jacksonville Jaguars rejected significant trade offers for Brian Thomas Jr

The Jacksonville Jaguars reportedly rejected multiple “significant” trade offers for wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. prior to the 2025 trade deadline. Despite speculation regarding his future following a season impacted by ankle and shoulder injuries, the organization has maintained its commitment to the player.

Thomas, a 2024 first-round pick, had a standout rookie season with 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns. However, his 2025 production decreased to 48 receptions for 707 yards and two touchdowns due to injuries and inconsistent play. This dip in production, combined with the acquisition of Jakobi Meyers and the emergence of Parker Washington, led to rumors that Thomas might be moved.

While the Jaguars have shown a willingness to keep Thomas, analysts suggest that certain high-value packages from teams like the Kansas City Chiefs—potentially involving draft picks and depth players—could theoretically change the team's stance in the future.
