Jacksonville Jaguars sign long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer to address an injury to Ross Matiscik. Matiscik suffered a shoulder injury during the team’s recent victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, forcing defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton to fill the role temporarily.

Bobenmoyer has already traveled to London to join the team ahead of their upcoming game against the Houston Texans. Because Matiscik is not expected to be placed on injured reserve, the Jaguars are utilizing roster flexibility to allow him time to recover during the upcoming bye week.
