Jacob & Co. launches meteorite-dial Epic X Chrono Meteor X collection

Jacob & Co. has launched the Epic X Chrono Meteor X, a limited-edition collection of chronographs featuring dials made from the Muonionalusta meteorite. This iron meteorite, discovered near the Arctic Circle in northern Sweden, is estimated to be over 4.56 billion years old.

The watches utilize the unique Widmanstätten patterns—geometric structures formed by the slow cooling of iron and nickel in space—which cannot be artificially reproduced. Each timepiece is unique due to the natural texture of the meteorite slices.

The collection includes three distinct versions, each limited to 50 pieces: - A titanium version focused on lightness and modern aesthetics. - A Black DLC version offering a high-contrast, aggressive sporty look. - A rose gold version designed for a luxury aesthetic.

Technically, the 44mm watches feature an automatic movement with a bi-compax chronograph, a column wheel, and a 48-hour power reserve, paired with a rubber strap.
