The Dog Stars premieres in London starring Jacob Elordi

Ridley Scott’s new post-apocalyptic film, ‘The Dog Stars’, recently held its world premiere in London. Based on the 2012 novel by Peter Heller, the film follows a pilot named Hig, played by Jacob Elordi, navigating a world decimated by a deadly influenza pandemic.

The ensemble cast includes Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Allison Janney, and Benedict Wong. Early reactions from the premiere have been largely positive, with critics noting the film’s emotional depth and character focus compared to Scott’s previous large-scale spectacles.

During the red carpet event, Jacob Elordi drew significant media attention, not only for appearing with his canine co-star, Rak Jasper, but also for playfully dodging questions regarding rumors that he is a candidate to play the next James Bond. Elordi responded to the casting speculation by stating, ‘I’m here on holiday.’
