Jacob Harris to meet Russian Ambassador in Denmark

Jacob Harris, an independent member of the Danish Parliament, has announced a scheduled meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Denmark, Vladimir Barbin, on November 10.

Harris, who was previously a member of the Borgernes Parti before being excluded, stated that the meeting aims to promote diplomacy and dialogue rather than war rhetoric. He emphasized that while Russia's invasion of Ukraine is a violation of sovereignty, it is necessary to listen to Russia's perspective to work toward diplomatic solutions and prevent Denmark from being drawn into a conflict.

Harris and fellow independent Cecilie Liv Hansen have also attempted to arrange meetings with the Ukrainian embassy, though they reported no response to repeated inquiries.
