Jacob Heyman reveals role in father Paul Heyman’s hairstyle change

Jacob Heyman has revealed that he was the person responsible for convincing WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman to abandon his signature ponytail. During an appearance on the inaugural episode of ‘The Roundtable’, Jacob shared that the decision to change his father’s look occurred around 2014, just before Heyman returned to WWE programming alongside Brock Lesnar.

“This is breaking news. I’ve never revealed this to the world, but I told him to cut the ponytail,” Jacob stated, claiming full credit for the transformation. The announcement drew a humorous response from Cody Rhodes, who suggested the change was a favor to the public.

In addition to discussing the hairstyle, Jacob provided insight into his father’s personality, noting that despite his long career portraying antagonistic characters on television, Paul Heyman maintains a positive, ‘babyface’ persona in his personal life.
