Jacob Jensen launches Aekvator watch collection

Danish designer Jacob Jensen has introduced the Aekvator Collection, a series of 16 mechanical watch models divided into two distinct lines. The collection focuses on a minimalist aesthetic characterized by a horizontal split on the dial, combining smooth reflective surfaces with textured elements such as brushed structures or Jacquard engravings.

The Aekvator 1000 series emphasizes a technical, minimalist design with fine rings and subtle color accents. In contrast, the Aekvator 2000 series offers a more expressive look with larger applied numerals and rounded forms. Both lines utilize Miyota automatic movements, sapphire glass, and stainless steel cases, with water resistance up to 10 ATM. Models are available in 35mm and 42mm sizes and may include complications such as date, day of the week, or power reserve indicators.
